NOTES: The oil tanker MV SOLAR-I sank in 632 meters of water off of Guimaras Island (central Philippines) in 2006. I was hired as a marine engineer/salvage consultant by the Philippine Coast Guard to give accessment as to the cause of sinking and also the ship/oil recovery operations.
